If these students cannot go to graduate school solely because they are ineligible for financial aid, how did they get through their undergraduate programs? I have some sympathy for those who have been in this country for many years even though they entered illegally but they like all other illegals must pay the price of their border violations. I'm not sure what that price should be. It should not be cheap. And it would be understandable why financial aid authorities would want to think carefully about extending any financial aid to them. I wonder what the rate of repayment of financial aid loans is among illegals. What if one said okay you can go to college and you can even go to graduate school but the only financial aid available to you will have to come from military service or a four year peace corps tour of duty in you homeland doing some good for your people there.

And this ILLEGAL criminals normally qualify for lower "in state tuition fees" that AMERICAN CITIZENS aren't entitled to. Awwwww, poor criminals STOLE their undergraduate degree and we should feel sorry for them that they can't get a job or their graduate degree??? This sense of entitlement is truly sickening. Here's a great idea, how about putting them in jail or on work release and pay them NOTHING until their 4 year tuition is paid off at the same minimum wage rate that LEGAL students make? Let them pick up trash on the side of the road or prepare meals for 1/3 of the jail population that is now ILLEGAL immigrants. It is absolutely disgusting that EVERYONE in America is not angered by this nonsense.

I understand you can go to any college in Mexico for free. Why are they not doing that? Are the colleges in Mexico really that bad? Many of ours aren't that great either, so why are they so insistent that they are entitled to go to our colleges? Again, it's this false dilemma that's currently shoved in our faces -- "Waah, if they don't get free tuition, their lives will be ruined for ever, waaah." When in fact, they do often have real alternatives to sucking the US taxpayer teat.
