McCain visits Mexico

John McCain is in Mexico now, visiting with President Felipe Calderon, reports the Caucus blog of the NYT.

He’s been joined by Jeb Bush, who says he is confident that McCain will win the White House come November.

McCain’s visit is meant to promote himself as a presidential candidate, but also to talk about U.S.-Mexico relations, namely about immigration, drug trafficking, and trade.

McCain is so out-of-touch it's laughable. At a time when Mexico (and the Bush family)are about as popular in the US as salmonella-infected tomatoes, he chooses a few months before the election to suck up to both in a big way. This man is beyond stupid.
