During the 2010 World Youth Conference, Mexicans and Americans Thinking Together (MATT) had the pleasure of sponsoring the first two-day youth conference organized by the Institute of Mexicans Abroad (IME) - a branch of Mexico’s Ministry of Foreign Relations (SRE). Youth and community leaders between the ages of eighteen and thirty came from Mexico, the United States and Canada to discuss immigration, education, and explore networking opportunities between young people from the three countries.
Jaime di Paulo, MATT México Director, and Tina Kosikowski, Director of Strategic Youth Initiatives, presented an overview of the organization and its various youth programs. MATT also proposed ways in which it could help the young leaders achieve their strategic objectives.
The meeting took place on the 26th and 27th of August in Léon, Guanajuato, México.
